Convegno Informagiovani
One of the Torino 2010 initiatives is the “Convegno Nazionale InformaGiovani” that provides an opportunity to reflect and discuss topics on communication and information to young people, the educational role that public bodies perform through information services and their future prospects. Politicians, administrators and operators confront the issues with groups of Italian and foreign youngsters, in plenary sessions and thematic workshops. Participants will include, distinguished experts and representatives of institutions and individuals involved in Youth Policies to promote innovative "thoughts and expressions". The conference is also an opportunity for discussion and exchange of best practices and gathering proposals submitted by young people, with the help of animation techniques and tools related to new technologies.

Thursday, the 4th of November
9.30 - 10.30 - Arrival of the guests
10.30 - 13.00 - Local politicians' welcome
Presentation of European and Italian networks and the political outlines of development in the field of information and communication with the youngsters
14.30 - 16.15 speeches by experts on new media and interpersonal relationship
16.45 - 18.30 a talk show with various journalists (radio, tv, internet, newspapers...) about the information and the youngsters
Friday, the 5th of November
9.30 - 11.15
European experiences as networks and good practices of youth information centres (speech of Davide Capecchi, Director of Eryica)
Good practices on web of Italian youth information centres (Giovanni Campagnoli of www.politichegiovanili.it)
11.45 - 13.00 A group of 30 youngsters, from various parts of Italy, introduces a prepared report with their ideas, suggestions and points of view to the Minister for the Youth Policies and the other politicians.
