Io parlo ECO

Citizens of all ages are called through I SPEAK ECO to be aware of recycling in a conscious, correct and funny way. Environmental aspect, as well as the social one are relevant. The challenge is to make different realities live together, such as the young and other disadvantaged people (women prisoners), in a single project with the same purpose.
The project goes through 3 easy steps:
1. Networks with schools.
2. From May 7 to 10, during the Student Performing Festival, the Fashion section will collect old clothes transforming them, there and then, into bags with the help of tailors from the Papili Factory Cooperative. Instead, the Art section will collect material that will be used for the “mostra perfetta” (perfect show) in November and will give "floral pots" in return.
3. An exhibition will be held during the “Notte Bianca” (all night event) in November, with works produced using materials donated by citizens during the days of the event and the clothes designed by fashion schools and sewn together in prison. An auction will also be held to raise money that the cooperative will use for the workshop within the women's prison "Lorusso e Cutugno" in Torino.
