Lingue in scena Festival Studentesco Europeo di Teatro Plurilingue

Lingua in scena Festival Studentesco Europeo di Teatro Plurilingue

"Lingue in Scena" (Languages on stage) is a European Student Multilingual Theatre Festival involving European and Italian theatre student groups.
The participants will propose two shows of up to 30 minutes during the first three days of festival: one foresees the production, acted in a foreign language, of a text freely chosen by the group, and the other one is the production, in its mother tongue, of a dramatic piece, "Ubu Re" by Alfred Jarry, wich will be the inauguration of the Student Performing Festival on May 7.
Youth mixed groups will participate to multilingual workshops all week long, to learn different theatre techniques and genres such as the Commedia dell'Arte ("comedy of art"), and the ties between theatre and visual arts.

The European and Italian groups will also participate to initiatives planned during the Student Performing Festival, giving their performances and experimenting innovation activities in the Youth Territory Centres’ workshops.
