Prove di coraggio

“Prove di coraggio” (Bravery trials) is a movie about a violent episode in the life of a group of kids in a small provincial town in the late 80s. It is also an opportunity to describe, with an epical portrayal, the period of pre-adolescence, cruelly vital for everybody’s life.
Marco, the main character, lives an intense and traumatic existence in the attempt of being accepted by his peers. He is faced with his limits and the debunking of the ones he wants to be part of, but, instead they become a threat to his life.
We want to give artistic dignity to everyday social problems that of youth violence and bullying, but lightening the rhetoric aspect that often accompanies this kind of representations. Defer judgment and use the camera like an "observing eye", allowing the atmosphere and the pace of the story to influence and educate.
