Student performing festival

The new square created for the Torino Winter Olympics Games, in front of Olimpic Palaceveune, will be the venue of the Student Performing Festival dedicated to students and youth who will have the opportunity to create and take part in musical, theatre, dance, circus arts performances, and any other form of youth creativity expressions.

During the 3 days Festival, shows, workshops and non-stop laboratories will lead students from all over Italy and Europe to Torino. It will be a one off occasion to have such visibility for young creative people, for different cultural exchanges and experiences through language and numerous expressive arts, the most diverse and innovative of performing arts.
Torino’s Youth Centres will be present at the Festival with productions made and put on by the students during a course for the event preparation, and with laboratories and workshops dedicated to dance, music, theatre, DJ-ing, cartoon, journalism and so on. Laboratories and workshops are open to all of Torino, Italy and Europe students.

Besides, there will be workshops run by nationally well-known personalities and artists, a fantastic occasion of visibility and exchange among the various initiatives and events, which will merge into the great closing gala, at the presence of famous artists.
